The 2018 La Confession is bold and quite powerful, but also a bit rough around the edges. Inky dark fruit, spice, cloves, licorice and lavender give the 2018 a good bit of nuance, but the ripeness and extraction are both pushed, while the tannins remain a bit strict.

Round and with aromas of just picked fruits, you'll also find flowers, licorice and a touch of smoke. On the palate, the lush cherries feel great with round tannins and supple textures. The wine was made from a blend of 73% Merlot and 27% Cabernet Franc.
