"A ripe, fresh and much more sauvage and classic Nuits nose of humus, earth and dark berry fruits that precedes rich, intense and rather suave medium-bodied flavors blessed with ample amounts of dry extract that smooth out the ever-so-slightly rustic and very firm tannins on the gorgeously long finish. This should age very well as the balance is spot on." Allen Meadows // "Good deep red with ruby highlights. Very dark aromas of black cherry, blackberry, bitter chocolate and earth. Broad but a bit youthfully tough, offering less easy sweetness today than the Boudots. Finishes with substantial building dusty tannins and noteworthy power.
