A great success in the vintage, with a mouthwatering delivery that holds itself with confidence. It's not hugely intense, as is often the case this year, but makes up for it with a poised delivery and firm, juicy tannins. It is austere, only hinting at the fruit that should develop. Medium to full body, ripe tannins and a fresh finish. 4/4/2018 Wine Spectator WINE SPECTATOR (JAMES MOLESWORTH) : 90-93 / 100 Fresh and lively, with red and black currant fruit gilded with lilac and sandalwood notes.
