95/100 Decanter.com Gooseberry, green apple, lemongrass, a hint of vanilla and verbena - lovely fragrance and aromatic on the nose. Clean and crisp. Juicy and alive, really focussed but this has such a vibrancy to it and perfect weight in the mouth. Gorgeous and because of the almost fleshy aspect you don’t get any harsh acidity. No aggressivity. A stunning white wine, gorgeous density, layered but precise too, it is crisp no doubt, there’s a firm line driving from start to finish with movement all the way through but then you get the expansive fruit, juiciness, soft chew and weight as well as a hint of sweetness. Fleshy peach, orange, grapefruit, lemon, apple, - so much going on here. Very lovely. Pure, precise, crystalline. Lithe and so incredibly tense, very pure fruited and yet with good density. Very expressive of the vintage. Brilliantly crystalline. Sauvignon Blanc on limestone drives this sculpted dry white. Lemon confit, white pepper, apricot and tangerine peel build in the glass. Lees-stirring helps build texture to play off the wine's salivating acid profile. - Antonio Galloni 90-92/100 Vinous The 2023 La Garde Blanc has a very pretty and generous bouquet with apple blossom, freshly sliced pear and subtle tropical notes that remain in the background, all nicely delineated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine concentration, well-integrated oak and hints of white peach and kaki fruit on the finish.
